Genuine UPPAbaby, with the Australian warranty
Kona is the pram for parents who do not want a full-size frame but need more than a travel pram. The seat is full size and reverses, the wheels are sprung and never go flat, and the whole thing weighs 9.9 kilograms. It folds in one hand with the seat attached, in either direction, and stands up on its own with a carry handle for stairs and transit. From birth, with the bassinet or the Mesa capsule attaching directly and no adapters to buy.
Tested to AS 2088:2022 including Amendment 1:2024, the current Australian standard for prams and strollers, and approved by the Infant & Nursery Product Alliance Australia. The mandatory standard, set by Consumer Protection Notice No. 8 of 2007, is AS/NZS 2088:2000. Front wheel locks for stability on varied ground, and a flip flop friendly brake.
Kona is a pre-order. Orders ship from the first week of November. Once stock is here, orders leave our Melbourne warehouse in one to two business days. Full delivery times and the returns policy are on the shipping page and the returns page.
Three years against manufacturing defects, plus complimentary maintenance checks for up to ten years under Lifetime Service Support. Read the full warranty or register your Kona.
This pram meets the mandatory Australian requirement, Consumer Protection Notice No. 8 of 2007, and is also compliant with the voluntary standard AS 2088:2022 including Amendment 1:2024.
The mandatory standard is based on AS/NZS 2088:2000, so testing to the 2022 edition goes beyond what the law requires.
It is fully endorsed by INPAA, the Infant & Nursery Product Alliance Australia.
What that standard requires:
Kona carries one child. What changes is what that child rides in, and none of it needs an adapter.
In the boxReverses to face you or the world, and reclines flat for a nap. From birth, to 22.7 kg.
Add onAttaches directly to the frame, no adapters. Lie flat sleep for the newborn months.
Travel systemThe Mesa clicks straight on with no adapters, so a sleeping baby goes from the car to the pram without being unbuckled.
Kona does not take a second seat, and no accessory changes that. If a second child is likely, Vista is the frame that absorbs it.
Most compact prams get small by shrinking the seat. Kona keeps a full size seat, a sprung wheel on every corner and a 13.6 kilogram basket, and finds the space in the footprint instead. 53.3 centimetres across.
Everything listed here is included. Nothing on this list is an accessory you buy separately.
Built for the daily dash: big performance in a small footprint, so you can take the city on.
Folds from standing whichever way the seat is facing, then stands on its own with a carry handle.
Sprung on every wheel, with front wheel locks for gravel and grass. Nothing to pump up.
Faces you or faces out, with a one-hand recline through four positions that goes flat for naps.
13.6 kilograms, so it takes the nappy bag and the shopping at the same time.
With a peek-a-boo window and ventilation, so you can check on them without stopping.
A comfortable push at any height, and a footrest that moves through three positions as they grow.
One hand, from standing, with the seat still attached. It stands up on its own afterwards, and there is a carry handle built into the frame for the flight of stairs at the other end.

A pram lives in a hallway and a car boot for half a decade. What it is made of decides whether it still looks like something you chose.

The question everyone asks
Both take one child from birth as sold, both carry the same basket, both take the bassinet and the Mesa without adapters. The Cruz has the Vista's seat on a larger frame. Kona is two kilograms lighter and four centimetres slimmer, and it folds with the seat on.

Families in more than fifty countries choose UPPAbaby. The engineering is proven a long way beyond one market.
Authorised retailers around the country, so you can push it, fold it and lift it into a boot before you spend anything.
Three year warranty, then lifetime service support. Bring it in and we strip it, check it and adjust it.
Measure the opening of your boot, not the space inside it. The opening is what stops a pram going in.
This compares the folded pram against your boot opening as if both were rectangles. Real boots have wheel arches and sloping lids. Treat a close result as a reason to go and try it, not a promise.
Hello. Ask which pram suits your family, whether the Mesa fits your car, what fits what, or anything about warranty, servicing and delivery.
