Quick answers

Can I use the Kona from birth?

Yes, as sold. The seat lies flat, so a newborn goes straight in with nothing extra to buy. If you would rather, the UPPAbaby bassinet and the Mesa capsule click straight onto the frame with no adapters.

Does the Mesa capsule fit the Kona?

Yes, directly, with no adapters. Capsules from other brands do not fit the Kona.

How do I fold the Kona?

With one hand, from standing, with the seat still on and whichever way it is facing. Folded it is 34.0 x 53.3 x 65.5 cm and it stands up on its own. The fold and unfold video below shows each step.

How heavy is the Kona?

9.9 kg with the frame and seat together, with a carry handle built into the frame for stairs and public transport.

Can the Kona carry two children?

No. The Kona takes one child and no accessory changes that. An older child can ride on the Kona PiggyBack board, which is coming soon. If a second baby is likely, the Vista V3 is the frame that takes two.

How do I adjust the harness?

The five-point harness adjusts at the shoulders and the buckle as your child grows. The harness adjustment video below is the Australian version, which matches the harness on Australian Konas.

Do the tyres go flat?

No. They are never-flat tyres on all-wheel suspension, with front wheel locks for gravel and grass.

How do I clean the fabrics?

The seat and basket fabrics come off; the videos below show how. They are spot clean or hand wash only, in cold water with a mild detergent, dried flat out of the sun. Do not machine wash them.

Videos

Press play and the video loads here. Nothing loads until you do. Some show the US model; Australian Konas have a five-point harness.

Guides

These are in our Journal. On cleaning, the fabrics are spot clean or hand wash only, in cold water with a mild detergent, dried flat out of the sun. Do not machine wash them, and no bleach, ironing or dry cleaning. The harness is wipe only.

Spare parts and repairs

Kona is a new model, so its parts are being added to our range. If something needs replacing, open a support ticket with a photo of the label on the frame and we will source the right part. Wear is a part you buy; a part that failed is a warranty claim.
