How It Works

  1. Report the crash
As soon as possible (and within 28 days), contact UPPAbaby with full details of the collision involving your Mesa® capsule.
  2. Submit your application
Provide us with all required documentation (see checklist below). We’ll review your case objectively and on its merits.
  3. We assess and decide
Our team evaluates whether the crash qualifies under the program criteria. If approved, we arrange for the capsule’s return, and issue you a suitable replacement.
  4. Receive your replacement
Once all checks are satisfied and the crashed capsule is returned, we aim to deliver your replacement within 28 days.

Assessment & Replacement

  • Submission of the application does not guarantee an exchange — each case is assessed individually.
  • If approved, UPPAbaby will provide a replacement capsule of comparable value and features. You cannot negotiate the replacement model.
  • We aim to deliver the replacement capsule within 28 days of accepting your application and receiving the crashed capsule.
  • UPPAbaby is not liable for any lost, misdirected, or damaged goods in transit.

Insurance & Other Claims

  • This program is not designed to supplement or replace insurance claims. If your insurer provides a replacement, you may no longer be eligible for exchange.
  • Some insurers may require you to keep the crashed capsule for their own assessment — that must be balanced with this program’s requirements.
  • If you submit a claim under your insurance, you’ll need to evaluate whether it conflicts with our program rules.

Rights & Changes

  • All submitted documents, photos, and media become the property of UPPAbaby.
  • If an exchange occurs, you consent to UPPAbaby using submitted images or stories for marketing (unless restricted by law).
  • UPPAbaby reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel this program (or its terms) at any time, without prior notice.
  • The program offers replacement only — no monetary reimbursement, credit, or upgrade beyond equivalent value.
