A pram and car seat that click together. Put the baby in the Mesa capsule at home, click it onto the base in the car, drive, then click the capsule straight onto the pram. The baby has not been unbuckled once. This is what a travel system is, and every UPPAbaby pram can be one.
Build yours: the organiser is free
Pick your pram and colour, pick your Mesa colour, and the car seat protector and parent organiser come with it. The protector is in the Mesa box and the organiser is made free in your bag the moment the pram and Mesa are together. Build your travel system.
How the pieces fit
The Mesa capsule is UPPAbaby's infant car seat: suitable from birth (2.0 kg) to 15 kg, low birthweight tested, and CASA approved for aircraft. The base comes in the box with the Mesa, installs once with ISOFIX or the seatbelt, and stays in the car; the capsule clicks in and out in a second. A second base, sold here, is for the second car. The pram takes the capsule directly or with an adapter.
-
Vista V3 and Cruz V3: the Mesa clicks straight onto the frame, no adapter needed. The simplest pram and capsule combo in the range.
-
Minu V3, Minu Duo, Ridge V2 and Kona: the Mesa fits with the matching adapter set, sold here.
-
Maxi-Cosi, Nuna, Joie and BeSafe capsules fit the Vista, Cruz, Kona and Ridge with a car seat adapter. The Minu range takes the Mesa only.
Choosing your pram and capsule
For one child and a car every day, the Cruz V3 with a Mesa is the lightest direct-fit travel system. For a family that will grow, the Vista V3 with a Mesa: later it takes a second capsule or a RumbleSeat for the sibling. For a small car and lots of travel, the Minu V3 with a Mesa and the Minu adapter. Our travel system guide explains capsule versus bassinet for a newborn and how long a baby should stay in a capsule; the adapter finder confirms exactly what your capsule needs on each frame, and every adapter is together in adapters.
Every pram here is tested to AS 2088:2022 + A1:2024 and carries a three year warranty. If a pram or capsule is ever in a vehicle accident, UPPAbaby's Crash Exchange Program replaces it.
