Sustainability
The most useful environmental thing a pram can do is last. One UPPAbaby frame is designed to be reconfigured for a second and third child rather than replaced, is eligible for complimentary servicing for up to ten years, and can be repaired with stocked spare parts.
The rest of this page needs evidence attached before it is published. We would rather leave it blank than write something we cannot prove.
Where we actually stand
The most defensible sustainability claim a pram brand can make is not about materials. It is about how long the product lasts, and whether it can be repaired and passed on. That claim we can already substantiate:

Materials

Named certifications rather than sentiment, on purpose. "GREENGUARD Gold" is a thing you can look up; "we care about the planet" is not, and under ACCC guidance the second is the riskier of the two to publish.
Packaging

Whether a particular carton is kerbside recyclable depends on your council, so check the label on the box rather than taking a general claim for it.
End of life
The honest answer is that the work here is about keeping a pram out of landfill for as long as possible, rather than recycling it at the end.

There is no take-back or recycling scheme for a pram at the end of its life, and we would rather say so than imply one. A capsule retired under the Crash Exchange Program must not be resold or passed on at all.
Supply chain
UPPAbaby requires every supplier to maintain safe, slavery-free workplaces and audits them to check it, including workers' rights, contracts, working hours, overtime, leave, minimum wage and unions. Suppliers are audited against ISO 9001.
