Keeping it clean
The inner liner zips out and the boot cover comes off, both water repellent and both washable. The mattress cover comes off as well, so the surface a newborn sleeps against can be washed rather than wiped. Wash instructions are in the product manual.
Before you decide
What is the weight limit?
9 kg, or the point at which your baby can push up on their hands and knees, whichever happens first. Most babies reach one or the other somewhere between four and six months.
Which prams does it fit?
It attaches directly to the Vista from model year 2015 on, the Vista V2 and V3, the Cruz V2 and V3, and the Ridge. It does not fit any Minu: the Minu takes a car capsule with adapters rather than a bassinet.
Can a newborn sleep in it overnight?
It is a lie-flat sleep surface and it is certified for overnight sleep on the bassinet stand, sold separately. On the pram it is for naps while you are with them, not unsupervised sleep.
Do I need two for twins?
Yes. A Vista frame carries two bassinets, so a twin setup is two of these. They sit at different heights on the frame.
Is the mattress foam?
No. It is a foam-free air mesh mattress, chosen for airflow through the sleep surface rather than for padding.
